Hotel Rex is set in an aristocratic building from the early 20thcentury, in the heart of the city, between the majestic Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and the famous Opera House.

The establishment is at a short distance from the major landmarks including: Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Via Veneto. The elegance of the building and the special care in the furnishing create a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere.

Back from your excursions you can enjoy the delights offered at the Rexbar or enjoy the tranquillity of the Crystal Room, with books and magazines available for you. In the meantime your children can play games, read or draw in the children area.

Excellent and nice service (even printed every day news from your country), very comfortable room, good connections with the airport, clean and close to the main visiting points in Roma.

No frills foyer but excellent service. I liked the "library" and the children's room with toys etc.

The dining room was a little small, but not worryingly so.

Staff were friendly and welcoming and even sent a cake and sparkling wine to our room as it was my wife's and my birthdays while we were away in Rome. Rooms were spacious and clean, and the hotel was in an excellent location for exploring the city and a short walk from the train station. Also a good selection for breakfast. Would definately stay again.

Laura at reception was very helpful all other staff equally friendly and helpful. As i suffer from claustrophobia there was no problem changing from a very dark room to a brighter one

The location is very good - close to Termini and Reppublica.The staff were helpful ( especially males!).

The choice of meals on breakfast was poor. "Hot" meals were cold.The carpet in the room was old and dirty.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and the location was excellent!

Breakfast was 7.0am - 10.30am. At 9.0am, hot food selection was cold and other items had not been replenished leaving very little choice! the bathrooms were in need of some tlc as the grouting around the shower was black and the sink was cracked.

The convenience to some places esp. the Terminii

Very poor standard not a 4 star one, dirty especially the carpets, breakfast bad,could not compare with another 4 star we stayed in Sorrento through your company or other 4 star ones in the vicinity of Rome which we investigated. Had to change rooms due to smell.

Rex Hotel is not 4 star ! In fact, this hotel is classified category 3 Stars or 2 star. It does not have parking for family car as is written on website
